Red Kite hosted their last WFAA competition of 2026 on Sunday 6th September with FMT 6. Attendance was relatively low but the event was enjoyed by all who took part in great weather for the day. The field course was well set with some high scores being recorded. Tammi Stoneham claimed a new Welsh Record for the Bowhunter Limited class. Red Kite Field Archers played host for the FMT 4 competition on 12 July 2026. Over 30 archers attended and the format of the competition was a 2D Marked Animal round. As usual the course was 14 targets which were completed twice giving the mandatory total of 24. Red Kite had replaced 4 of their target bosses with the large format 130cm bosses with 4 more on order.
